The New Blueprint for Workplace Efficiency
A blueprint to help you
support your business and people strategy
be proactive in your organizational day-to-day
clearly see your organization’s blindspots
serve more clients
make more money
The last several years have been tough on business
We have been learning to operate in new ways as the world rapidly changed and so did the constraints for work. These same challenges have existed for your employees as well. And as the dust settles we find ourselves wanting to continue with our company growth goals WHILE avoiding phenomena like “quiet quitting” in an increasingly vocal and dissatisfied work culture.
The good news is what is good for your people is good for your profit margins.
Have you found yourself:
Watching your employees struggle with “simple” tasks and know that there is an important deadline coming up?
Wanting to give your employees the flexibility to work from home but unclear about the expectations, boundaries and efficiencies?
Feeling like there is a disconnect in your workflow that cannot seem to be solved for?
A little afraid to address workplace issues because it’s easy to misstep in doing so?
We are at a historic time where it is possible to reimagine organizational design to be
people-centered, resilient, and agile and bring life to organizational mission and vision.
Our packages provide you with a blueprint of what your company looks like right now - in terms of your business AND people strategies, as well as things that often are overlooked or are hard to put your finger on like:
Organizational strengths and opportunities (in a manner that feels empowering, truthful, and connected with folks’ everyday experiences)
Alignment (or misalignment) between your business practices and the mission and vision of your organization
Where outdated or inefficient business practices are getting in the way of more clear (and successful) team outcomes
How to maximize the information that already exists.
Creating transparency for what is already happening and a jumping off point for change.
Provides a foundation for clarifying or debunking anecdotes or narratives circulating in the organization
Identifies breakdowns in financial model of organization (are you leaving money on the table)
AND we offer sustainability packages, so that information doesn’t sit on a shelf until the next year.

Context matters founder, researcher and organizational consultant. Amanda has a unique background in a wide range of research methods and over 10 years of helping organizations be more effective, accountable, and productive. This experience and expertise helps me integrate unique combinations of standard operating procedures, management strategies, internal communications, and other business processes.
Do you have a sense of what is really happening inside your organization?
How your team members are connected to each other? How they are able to connect their work?
How day-to-day work is related to the mission of the organization?
What organizational practices support or get in the way of the culture that you want to build?
How is the way that you communicate as an organization supporting or waylaying your organizational strategies?
Are your policies and procedures effective both for workplace culture and for profit and productivity outcomes?
How would it feel to be confident that your organizational strategy, culture, and outcomes were aligned and fortified?
It’s entirely common for workplaces to feel uncomfortable due to discrepancies between the values and ideas about the work and the actual practices in place. And often the people with decision making power might not even be aware of these issues. Leaving a disconnect not only from the mission and the work, but between the stakeholders and employees.
Not addressing these issues keeps people in a reactive state. We use data as a form of compassion. A way to understand the ecosystem of an organization and plan sustainably.
We start by creating a Collaborative Blueprint
This process allows us to generously assess the strengths and growth opportunities in your organization. With the dual lenses of “what is good for the company” and “what is good for the people inside of it,” as those two aims must be consistent for long term sustainability.
Mapping out the “intangible” people part of work
Experiences & Perspectives - what does it look like for individuals to work in the organization, what do their experiences look like and how do they report out those experiences (e.g. their perceptions). Employee engagement is one of the most important predictors of companies success, financial and otherwise.
Mapping out the context of work
Practices & Policies - what are the standard practices and policies of the organization? This pertains to what is written down and established in some form of “normal operating procedures.”
Behavior/”Daily Doing” - what does individual and group behavior look like, or in other words, how do the people of the organization live into the practices and policies of the organization?
What this can look like:
My goal is to talk with you and your teams about what work looks like at your organization in a way that is conversational, judgment free, curious, and low pressure. We’ll seek information like:
What your last meeting looked like, yes, I love to see an agenda, and I want to hear different perspectives of the flow of meeting
When was the last time that you had a question for a colleague, what did it look like to follow up with them
Who do you go to when you have a question about something like taking parental leave or how to handle when you haven’t heard back from a colleague and you’re facing a steep deadline
And always, I like hearing about folks’ experiences of taking time off
I will construct a plan for data collection that fits your organization’s particular needs.
I might also send your team a survey. Especially if that sounds exciting to you and your team.
Then I will compile, synthesize, and analyze all of this information. This analysis will provide an initial snapshot of your organization that we will share with you. This typically looks like a 90 minute conversation/facilitated discussion with me and your team.
I will then will build a blueprint that outlines your organization’s business and people practices (e.g. what exists in practice, what is written in policy and other manual type documents, and where there are opportunities and strengths for your organization to strengthen your teams, help individuals thrive, and amplify the success of your business practices).
*This description is meant to be an overview of a typical engagement. Each organization is different.
